Description
Yesterday evening, October 28th 2010 at 8:00PM my beloved beautiful wonderful kitten Calvin pictured here passed away. An unknown trauma caused his circulatory system to fail and I parted with him forever.
Calvin came to me as a kitten only a few weeks old on the night of September 12th 2008. He was found under a car, flea ridden and near death during a thunderstorm in Queens, NY. That evening my wife and I took him into our home and gave him the love and care he deserved from that point onwards. Every day after that was a gift I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
Calvin was my always willing photographic subject, and I photographed him from his first day with me until his last.
Calvin I will always love you, remember you, and miss you. Please be at peace.

I took this photo with my iphone hours before his death. Here he is waking up from a long nap at my side on my bed.

Oh no, I am so sorry for your loss... he is a beautiful spirit, who will obviously live on in the way he has impacted your life. There are never words, but my heart is with you...
